Install mgcamd help Appreciated !

Folks, trying to install mdcamd 1.35a on the latest Black Hole 1.7.2, when I copy the ipk into the tmp folder then goto Menu>Setup>Software management>Install local extension & choose the harddisk I get the message "Noi displayable medium files found" Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong please ??????????

You might need to put in the TMP folder of the flash rather than HDD

Please forgive my "newbieness" how do I access the tmp folder of the flash ?????

You need to use filezilla client to FTP into the box, will need the password for the box as well.

Yeah, ftp'd in no problem but not sure of the file path to the flash ?

It should be in the root of the flash, if not in the top window on the RHS of the screen click on the very first folder and that will take you to the root.

I doubt you have the correct pack for Black Hole Image, look for a bh.tgz file extension.

Google for tspanel and install it (ipk). You'll find there all files you need for blackhole.

When you have FTP'd the file over to the TMP folder then in BlackHole you should:

1. Press GREEN button to get into the Green Panel.
2. Press YELLOW for Addons
3. Select MANUAL INSTALL IPK PACKAGES and follow on screen options.
