Weird recording problem

Hey all! I've got my duo setup just right but I've always had the following problem:

If I record on tuner a and watch a hd channel on tuner b it glitches! It's ok when I watch sd channels?
If I start a recording then watch it from the record list it'll start glitching when the recording catches up!

I've checked all the connections and they're fine!

So could it be:
The hard drive needs replacing?
The psu needs replacing?
The box is getting too hot?
There is a problem with the tuner?

Any help appreciated

it could also be the method by which you obtain your channels unless your using a local card in the receiver.

Bit more messing on and it seems to be tuner b?
I've switched the leads around and it's no different!
Can you by new tuners for the duo?

Edit: messed on some more....checked the hd leads, messed on with the settings and cut a good meter off the sat dish leads! Testing now but seems to be working so far :-)
