hi is it possible to connect 2 external blu ray drives(region 1 and region 2) to the usb ports and have this set up work?

I can't see why it won't work although I'd rather just use a multi region drive my self.

thanx for your reply phoenix, i cant find find an external multi region blu ray drive anywhere, hence maybe the need for two drives.

I don't have a xtrend receiver to test but as long as the drivers are there it should work

so if i fit a region 2 external blu ray drive there maybe drivers available to make it multi region yes?

No I did not mean that. I meant I can't see any reason why the drives would not work providing there were drivers available for it. As I said I don't have a xtrend receiver nor a blue ray drive to test with.

ok sorry about the misunderstanding, i am thinking of the vu+ ultimo also so hope this could work, do you know of any multi region external blu ray drives?

Dont quote me on this, but pretty sure blu-ray drive wont work.
