Flashing without re-scan

Hi,

Re-scanning the box for channels using the Vix image takes between 25 and 30 minutes.

My question is - Is there a way to re-flash the latest image without having to re-scan for channels?

My plan is - if there is a file that contains channel IDs and frequency i could stick it on usb and transfer after the re-flash.

Hi..
I never do a rescan when i reflash any image..

When your going through the set up after flash.. Just select " No, I will Scan Later.. "

Then just upload whichever bouquets you want to the box and away you go..

backup your existing bouquets using dreambox edit or a similar program then once you have flashed send the bouquet back again using your chosen channel manager.

use backup manager and it will back up everything important and than just reinstall after flash
