folders to back up before new image install

I don't want to do another re-scan and also don't want a favourites section full of lots of folders.


I'm installing a new image and want to keep my existing scan/channels and bouquet settings (including picons)

Can anyone please tell me what folders I need to back up? thanks

i'm using hdf image at the moment based on open pli

Backup your bouquets using a channel manager such as dreambox edit or dreamset etc. and backup your picon folder where ever you have stat currently stored.
also make sure you backup any softcam configuration files for example if your using CCcam go into the ETC folder and backup the CCcam.cfg file.
