Hi Guys

Just starting out in the world of satellite and purchased a VU DUo from W O S with the latest vix image
Pre installed.
Dish fitted and done auto tune on 28.2e which found around 208 channels mostly foreign so think maybe
I need to do a manual scan.
Set both tuners up as simple /single (is that correct for HD) ?
Regarding the vix screen on boot up it just says loading all the time ,my question is what's it trying to load ?
Just ordered a 500gb hd for it so looking forward to fitting that.
And I've got the tenda wifi adapter for it and when I used dreamedit to talk to the duo all is well until I reboot it the the ip changes, is there a way of setting it so the ip address is fixed?

Sorry for all the questions but being a total noob to this it doing my head in not being able to watch the bbc hd and itv hd channels.

Have you scanned for channels?
Have you transferred any Enigma 2 settings / bouquets?
Did you complete the startup wizard?

Will try the above when I get home tonight.
Re the ip address that changes would that be due to the tenga wifi adapter rebooting when I reboot the UNO due to powering it of the UNO USB port ?

Done auto scan but not manual and yes ran wizard on initial install.

push down button on the remote, select all channels red button, select channel.

Doing the above steps has listed the channels but they are all greyed out on the list and says check tuner configuration when I select one of them.

Simple single in tuner a and b , also had A as single simple and b as equal to A.

Since putting silverfox0786 bouquets in, the tuner options for satellites has nothing connected or astra 28.2 e by silverfox only dispute doing a factory restore.

elect silver fox 28.2E in the sats and should work.

if you get a check tuner config error that means you did not allow settings to reload

its important you allow settings to reload or they will be greyed out

Is that after dreambox edit has sent the files to the duo if so thats when i get an error message saying no box on this ip add try reconnecting and check cable.
is it best to do it though cable or wi-fi?

yes after the settings have been send the settings need to be reloaded

you need to check your ip address of teh box with yr router

and also check it with the options menu in dbedit make sure they are connecting correctly

including the correct port
