Subtitles - please help i would appreciate any info

i am a noob to this, i am planning on getting a VU+Duo and i am currently using sky hd at moment. i rely on subtitles alot do to my hearing difficulty. i want to know what the subtitles are like on these systems compared to sky?

there fine, occasional hiccup sometimes when you have words without space likethisbutnot very often.
