Vu+ Solo

Hi guys

I'm completely new to Vu+ sat boxes.

Today I've tried to update the image on my VU+ solo and it has killed the box. now there is no power or led lights on the box.

I've used vix 2.3 image and updated it using a usb drive. The flash process was complete with flashing green light, the box didn't come back online after the reboot.

is there a way to get this up and running or is it a hardware fault with the box?

any help is appreciated.

did you update the SOLO CFE before flashing


if you did not then you just killed your box

oh noooo, i personally didn't update the solo cfe as I was told It was already updated, sorry I'm a complete noob, and just killed the box :-(

one thing i would never do is take another persons word for it

updateing the CFE does not harm the box if done twice so you should have dine it just for your own peace of mind

i doubt this will work but update the CFE now and flash the box straight after dont even let the box try to start into the image inbetween flashes


see if that brings the box back

Are you sure that you have a genuine Solo?
