strange motor problem

i am experiancing a really strange problem with my motor,

i set to 1w then move to 4.8e then 9/10e then 13e and so on, my problem is that it wont move back
eg if im on 4.8e i can go to 13e but not back to 0.8w
although i have noticed i can switch betwwen 16 & 19.2

is it the motor on the way out ?
