hi all I am really new to this so please bear with me my question is after i have set up my brand new vu+ box with its 1tb hard drive can i put in my sky card and receive the same channels ? as before or do i need a cam to slot in first and will sky marry this card to this box as they did with the sky HD box i had before. Thanks for any help now and in the future::confused:

it will work in either top or bottom slot chip down, and with CCcam 214.

but unfortunately for you mate that's as much as i can tell you, forum rules prevent me, you'll need to edit your CCcam.cfg file and you'll need your boxkey, but i'mafariad that's about as much as i can say.

your going to have to have a look around there's loads of sites out there that allow discussion of this subject, but it's a no no here.

and sky will not "marry" your card to the unit,....you need read your contract with them, and would do best not to ask them either
