What is the best way to write or store recordings directly onto network storage and to play back from it?
I have a Synology NAS server with lots of potential space. This is running a DLNA server as is one of my Apple Mac machines. I have not been able to get my VU+ running Vix to see these servers.
The DLNA servers have existing recordings from a variety of sources such as Humax and EyeTv receivers plus some conversions via Handbrake. The latter were done to get stuff to play via my Sony BluRay sound system.
