Hi, i had some trouble with my xtrend (stuck loading) but sorted it out with a reflash but now i would appreciate a little help getting back up and running as i have never started from scratch before i have read a thread on here showing where to download the ccams from and how to ftp them to my box then i need to transfer the cam.cfg..? where does the cam.cfg come from and do i need softcams as well.. thanks for any help.

The CCcam.cfg file is a configuration file needed for CCcam so that it knows what to do. you will not find one in the image ( ViX ) you must make this your self. then FTP it over to the etc/ directory on your receiver. you can make the file using Notepad++ you can get this from the pc downloads section.

You can create your own CCcam.cfg using notepad.
