Guys, i had a m8 who has a spider 7000hd, and it seems to have gone off, are these box`s still supported or are they dead in the water ??

I'm not sure about this particular model but i do remember there was mention of the older models being disabled in favor of the newer ones.

They did start enforcing the years sub so if it's been a year he's had his chips ;)

If he believes it's not been a year then he should update to the latest patch and maybe take it up with the spiderbox forum.

can a patch+gift[ whatever that is ] be-gotten for these boxes, and would it come from the makers, the guy that came to me knows nothing about them [ and i know just as much... lol ]has asked is it poss to get it up and running again with services ??....cheers...

No mate the old Dark ones not really into subscriptions more a case of I have a new range of boxes can you buy please, it does have other possibilities but you will need to google those.

yes as pointed out the so called "gift" ( that bit always amused me ) is now gone for these older boxes if you want another "gift" you have to buy another box.
