6 degree monobloc lnb

hey guys,

just a quick question as am not entirely sure of the answer based on the size of dish i have.

I have the standard sky uk minidish pointing at 28.2e,

Now my plan was that if I put a 6 degree monobloc on the minidish could I recieve channels from 26.0e?? I am based in Glasgow, Scotland.

To me it sounds possible but again its the size of dish am worried about.

How do you guy determine what size of dish you need for certain things?

I Live in the midlands and have just a std sky dish with 28.2 on and a 80cm triax dish with 2 seperate lnbs facing 13 & 19e
You should be able to buy a 2lnb holder & a 4lnb holder for some dish's other just bang a motor on a dish for a wider range , but tbh i havnt seen a sky dish with another lnb attached :confused: not saying it aint possible , and id say it also depends on what cards you have available to use depends on what sats u plump for

26e is going to be hard to get on a standard mini dish. im pretty sure you need a reasonable sized dish i.e 1m+ to get those channels on 26e

6deg wont do it thgat 13 and 19 or similar


for 28.2 to 26 you need 3deg [well 2.8deg to be exact] and nothing available

plus you do as punisher says need a bigger dish

I'm not getting 26e with my 1m Gibertini dish.Maybe another 25cm extra would make difference.
