Better picture in VIX IMAGE for SD chanels

Iam new owner of Xtrend ET5000
I have installed 2.3 VIX image.I have only UPC card at 0.8W.
After complete sat tuner setup and channels finding I have been very
suprised from a very poor SD quality off chanels.
HD quality is excelent.I made a enhance picture in VIX too.
Maybe I am doing wrong something?
I have 52"Philips 7404 LCD

Remember any imperfections in a SD broadcast will only get hightlight in large TV screens such as your 52" LCD.
