I have removed the phone numbers from your post it's not a good idea to put phone numbers on public forums such as this. Pm the numbers to him.

Number is from his website which is public:

But pm'd the numbers also

Fair do although i'd still rather they not be posted on the open forum. PM is more than fine.

Please keep recommnedations via pm, no links to other equipment retailers please.

At Canthackit, your doing this at your own risk and no one can be held responsible for any recomendations given should it go pear shaped. Please adivse when your sorted.

At some stage I may think about a recommended installers section.

I wasn't posting as regard another equipment retailer, i was pointing out the site to confirm numbers are public as i have been told this forum is open to the public, so did not see anything wrong.
No one else had answered him and now i can see why, obviously unless you buy form the sponsor which may i say i have on 4 occassions, you can not post other websites which in this case was clearly only for an installer to help a fellow member.
Why would he be put at risk or even i myself put another member at risk as i ain't a newbie and can from experience pass this information to other members on the basis i passed on that info to a very very good friend of mine and trusted the info to be good and it was.

Freedom of information going on forums aswell as the net it self

There is noting wrong with recommending some one you know to do a good job but like virtually all other satellite based forums we have a sponsor who pays us for exclusivity with regard to advertising and product placement rights, and for this we can keep the forum running. it's nothing to do with freedom of information.

if you need to post links or phone numbers they are best off in the form of a PM.

Sorry Foxy, wasn't meant to get at you or anything. Just dont want this thread to get into a free4all with all sorts of links being posted. Hope you understand.
