The videos that are recorded in vu duo.

is it possible to have a plugin or a script that converts the .ts to a specific mp4 format.

so that one can just move the files from box to pc via LAN, and then upload them anywhere one wants, as the files are then converted and have smaller size.

Your PC should be able to play the .ts files, simply install VLC Media player.

Hi,
it is not wise to use the box to convert. If it would be possible it would take days to convert one film whereas your PC does this in less then 1 hour if he is not to old or slow. When you want to transfer HD films only remuxing is necessary and a PC does this in a few minutes.

LAN The files to your PC, I normally get 12,000kb/s to PC, TS Doctor to cut out sections that ain't needed. I use VidCoder found on doom9 forum, Setup a profile for SD and HD encodes and I can encode to MKV or MP4 format. Simples
