VU Solo Recording

Hiya

I have a VU Solo with VIX Image (v 2.3)

I have a 16gb USB PEN drive which I have initialized and setup the correct folders in recording path (/media/usb/<Movie)

[ISSUE

When i record any program , it only records the first 10- 15 seconds and then stops. ... I have tried adding a timer and i get the same result

any ideas?

Read write speeds to a usb pen drive might not be upto scratch, even the size might be an issue.

Did you format the USB stick connected to the Solo?

Check recording settings/paths.
Check mount manager mounts.

Mount it as HDD and make sure its formated to EXT3 via the HDD menu.

Initialized in VIX will make it EXT4 ;)

I started again and formatted the USB pen drive in Solo
I mounted to Vu Solo (did not do that last time) and hey presto it works
