Enable panic button?

Hi all,
just wondering what the Enable panic button setting in the customize settings does & how it works?

press the zero button and it will take you to the first channel in your bouquets and clear zap history. so if you are on a channel not meant for the missus to catch you watching it is a quick way to cover your tracks :p
