hi how can i get the auto timer just to record one time setting for a programme & not eveytime the episode is repeated.

Push 'Channel +' and type (text-type) the search-term.

For auto timers I add a filter for it to only record episodes on said day.

So instead of recording repeats, it only records episodes on the day I set it to.

I assume that's what you meant?

And also auto timer will account for schedule change whereas repeat timer will not

How do you set it to a day sorry? I have pressed Yellow to create autofilter, set it to "weekday" but then can't seem to specify anything more?

Quick question - does Including a day automatically exclude other days? So if I want to record a program only on Monday, if I set an Include filter for Monday does it exclude all other days of the week? Or do I need to set an Exclude filter for all the other days?

Autotimer will only match shows on the day you include. So as you said, if you pick Monday autotimer will only search for matches that are on a Monday.

If you exclude Monday, autotimer will search for matches on Tuesday to Sunday.
