Media player woes

I have the latest Vix on and I'm having trouble playing back downloaded videos via usb and media player.

I can see the files straight away and play them straight away, but the problems start if I try to rewind, fast forward or pause a file. They will do the function ( e.g fast forward ) but when I press play they just show a still paused picture or goes to the playlist with a paused symbol next to it.

It doesn't matter what type of file it is, mpeg, mkv etc, it does them with them all.

However files that are recorded by the box onto the HDD work fine as they should.

Any ideas anyone?

Try using buttons 1, 4 & 7 to rewind at varying speeds & buttons 3, 6 & 9 to fast forward the same. Not really fast forward or rewind but it advances the file by 30 seconds, 1 minute and 4 minutes. I works quite well I find.

Just realised you're using an ET9000, and I'm using a duo so maybe not the same, worth a try though.
