Update has messed my duo box up

Hi folks, my box was playing up i have vix2.3 on it i went to the vix panel and did the software update as was suggested in a previous thread, i chose option 1 which i think is unattended update, the box restarted and on the box it has starting across the front with my previous channel displayed, but i cant use the remote or anything, it has stayed like this for 3 hours so i restarted and i have the same scenario, any help would be appreciated, or is it a re-flash again for the 2nd time this week.

if you made a settings backup or a image backup prior to updating you can reflash the box and be back up and running in minutes.

i have messed about and the box has restarted....how do i tell if it has updated ok?

check the version and build number in menu> information.

also it's a good idea to make a settings backup and a full image backup incase things go wrong so you can go back to a working image in minutes if need be.
