im having problems configuring mgcamd for vu+duo vix latest image.
I downloaded mgcamd 1.38 from tspanel linuxsupport.
is 1.38 compatible with vix?
the following files appear in /usr/keys

ccamd.list
mg_config
newcamd.list
priority.list
replace.list
softcam.key

if pasted the following example into the newcamd.list
CWS = myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

restarted mgcamd on vu+ blank screen.
in mg_config it has a line where it says username password. do i have to chage these to either the above in the cws line or the username/password to connect to vu+ by telnet/dcc.
Can post mg_config and newcamd.list if this will help.

i have the nline running fine with cccam but was looking for abit more stability by using mgcamd instead of cccam
any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

Would some kind person be able to post a working exapmple of a mgcamd 1.38 config and an example of newcamd.

A working example would be good for noobs (like me), as I am still trying to get mine to work :mad:

You need to be careful with the use of emoticons, it may well not have been your intention but the use of the mad icona the end in conjunction with your text implies you are mad people have not posted their config for others to use??

Google Mgcamd 1.38 for blackhole and you will find the complete working files for the latest images.

Why not use 1.35a works fine on vix?

138 check the box type in the mg_cfg if it is 00 change it to 06 , use the forum search to find a working mg_cfg
