Quick method to initiate zap timer? Akin to Sky box.

Hi,

Recently setup my duo box with vix 2.3. Very impressed so far. Love the ability to record to my existing NAS!

I am used to using my Sky box to select a program from the now & next and pressing 'select' to set a programme reminder. Is there a quick way to do this on the duo? I understand I can long press the red button, change to zap, etc, but this seems a bit long winded. So is there an easier way?

Also, would a different skin allow to me browse through all programmes/channels just via the now & next menu at the bottom of the screen, as opposed to having to go through the EPG to do so?

1- Quick-ZAP timer is REC-button when in graphical EPG
2- When watching live TV use the Right/Left arrow to open Quick-EPG; push more right/left to go to other channels. Depending on your settings the first OK will give you a preview of the channel and on the second OK you actually zap to there.

Many thanks for that. I had my buttons setup differently.

Just realised the settings options for epg (epg button > menu button). Handy options on there.
