View Full Version : Deleting all of my HDD/formatting?

Hi guys, i'm wanting to format my HDD so that all recordings are deleted and to sort of 'start again'.
How do I do this without messing up my HDD?? as at the moment it's working perfect!

What do you mean by messing it up?

If you want to wipe it you can go into the Harddisk menu (Menu-->Setup-->System-->Harddisk) and Initialise (format) it and that will simply clear down everything on it.

I mean I dont want to accidentally 'unmount' it or something! LOL
Ok, so simply initialise and then it will be like new?

It will be fine, it will just clear it down. If it did get unmounted you can just mount it again anyway in the Vix menu!
