help required installing usb external hdd

hi all is there a guide for installing a new usb external hdd for my also so i can pause the box etc

No drive, plug it into a USB and the box should recognise it automatically, you may need to reboot if not. Than go into blue button>Vix>mount manager and mount it as HDD and use as HDD, will need to go into HDD in menu to initlaise and away you go. Press pause and it will start buffering
