Is it just me or has the Shoutbox thing just started appearing in all threads?

Is there a way we can turn it off?

Best regards

Mark

just click on the arrow icon to the right of the shout box next to the time to close it. and yes its a new feature.

Its a forum enhancement, you can turn it off by pressing the up button but give it a try, it grows on you and good way of interacting with other members:thumbsup:

Mate - up button doesn't work for me.

I am sure it is great, but I am already fed up with msn type stuff. I can see a place for it on main page but for me, it is not an enhancement - sorry! :)

Just tried it now and works fine.

Top of the shout box in line with the text "Shoutbox for general chat only. > General Channel [Archives (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/mgc_cb_evo.php?do=view_archives&page=1)]"

is a small arrow pointing up, click that and it will minimise

Thanks Pheonix for your reply. Still appears in every thread despite browser cache clearout and restart. IE9 BTW!

Do you have any plugins installed (i.e. javascript type plugins to stop popups etc?!)

Just tried on safari and worked fine, but I can imagine that on FF with the no script plugin, it will cause hassles...
