Hi, quick question regarding kernel 1.3.3 and image compatibilty

Hi,

First thanks to stef, bought a vu duo from world of satellite, amazing service and next day delivery!

Just trying to set my box up now, going to install vix 2.3 and have updated kernel to 1.3.3

is this kernel compatible with all images? Such as previous vix images and blackhole 1.66 etc?

Only the latest images have the new kernel.

Thanks, but will older images (e.g. blackhole 1.66) work with the new kernel?

Or can i only use new images (like vix 2.3) with the new 1.3.3 kernel?

With Vu you can use older or the newer images, its the ET series that once upgraded to the new bootloader you cannot use older images with folder name ET9000 ET5000 has to be ET9X00
