loading the epg

I have looked through faq's but cannot see how to speed up the epg loading. At the moment it is slow to load and incomplete. Can you set the epg to load in the background or am I doing something wrong? Satnav

You need to post more info, what receiver? Image? What EPG settings? What EPG sources? Please give more info.

If you use XMLTV-import (in ViX) the download will be done in the background (at the time you specified or on the fly). You can continue watching TV/Recordings during this process.

I have now got it working as found the settings for CrossEPG set up and downloaded Rytec UK XMLTV and now have 7 day listing not just current and next!
I would like to update my details regarding my reciever, VIX etc but cant find the means to do it!
