Alsat LNB on S*Y dish?

Hello all

would the Alsat LNB fit the S*Y dish? My signal has dropped and am only getting 55-65%, I've lost a few channels recently due to the drop.

Are you sure your dish hasn't simply moved a little in the heavy winds recently and your existing LNB could be fine?

Thinking about it, it may well of moved as my fence got blown down. Will I need to get someone in or can I do it? Also, I got the alsat LNB for free when I bought the Eagle Mini so if it fits might as well use it :)

It is up to yourself but if it was me I'd hold onto the Alsat one until you really need it. It is pretty straight forward to adjust the dish and you can pick up a cheap satfinder that do the job 100%.

I think the Vix image has a signal meter built in so you could just use that but it would involve having two people to get it right, one watchin the TV and the other out tweaking the dish...
