ok i know this is stoopid but how do you set up new vu with quad lnb only pointing to sly?how is tuners configured and what can record ?

you can record and watch any other channel on sky with this setup, plus more on the same transponders etc.

your a star wasnt sure how it would play ,can you only record one channel of each transponder?

You can in theory record up to 8 channesl from the two feeds but they have to be on same TP ie 6 from one 2 from the other or 4 and 4.
