View Full Version : If you could pimp up the Duo hardware what would you do ?

I have been thinking of pimping up my Duo and have the following ideas.

2 HDMI outputs
Internal DVB/T tuner
Another internal HDD
Internal USB stick
LED signal strength meter
Redesign front panel

So what else can you think of that would be good ?

Rob do you mean a HDMI input, I was thinking of simultaneous outputs to feed TV/Projector or 2 TV's at the same time or TV/AVR

Input yes, so a Player could be used via the box. Just as the VCR-scart in the old days.
For a projector you can already use the Component-connection simultaneous to HDMI.

I know it's not a hardware mod but Ive been thinking of doing the external LCD upgrade as shown on the xtrend forum. that looks great.

I know it's not a hardware mod but Ive been thinking of doing the external LCD upgrade as shown on the xtrend forum. that looks great.

I was thinking of doing it internally which would mean a new enclosure, its also something I did before back in 1999/2000 when I last designed a Sat receiver.

yeah i know i used to do the same thing with old xbox 1 consoles. if i had the time i would not mind doing a case mod for a duo.
