Ive had the duo for months now and have swaped from b/h to vix 230 155 but am now having tuner problems the telnet way of doing 155 updates has really seemed to stabilise the image and i thought was so usefull to know.
The small problem ive been having is tuner setup ive struggled to scan 19.2e and have had to change the tuner setup to positions/usals and tuner b to same cable of lnb.
Is this the correct way of doing it.?

Set to 'second cable from motorised dish' (if indeed that's what you mean).

Sorry, but it's not clear to me what the actual problem is.

Your first post is vague to say the least maybe it would help if you could tell us more about your setup

What Dish(s) you have
How are they connected to the Duo
What LNB's and are they connected through the motor.

Vu duo .vix 230 155 two cables from dual lnb with tm2300 motor. scanning problems, was unsure of correct tuner settings.

Sorry again, but we need more info. 'ive been having problems scanning sats' doesn't say very much, does it?
So as I said before: set tuner A to USALS and tuner B to 'second cable from motorised dish'.

There is absolutely no need for posts like this one either. you have asked for help and you will get that help, we however are not able to read minds so you must provide us with as much information as you can about the problems you are having and what you are trying to achieve.

Helo my friends ,sorry for asking this question again in the same thread after its been answered but just want to 100 percent confirm that i have my box setup in the best performing way, bearing in mind im not familier with importing channel lists and always scan all my sats .My question is do i defo have my setup right using the following:
Vu Duo>Motorised dish.Twin Lnb .two feeds going into tuner A and Tuner B. Tuner A-is usals.
Tuner B is 2nd cable of motorised dish>>>>>....please confirm>.....

yes thats correct providing your motor is usals compliant. and the cable to tuner a is the one coming from the motor and not the one directly from the lnb.

I was worried about not knowing which cable is which.??
What is the advances setup for the one with loads of info like Lnb.all sats1-5 ?

To be honest I don't have a usals motor so I'm not 100% certain my self. my motor is DiSEqC 1.2

to tired to make sence of your last post, but

the coax that controls your dish...label it, "motor"
the other coax..label it "feed"

that way, there is no chance of a wrong connection

yea will do that using stickies how can i tell which feed is which,i presumed i had usals its tm2300 motor does that use usals settings?

Choose one and see if the motor will turn. If so: label it as 'motor'.
