hi i am trying to use the latest blackhole but i cant get mgcamd to work, its showing up that its installed but not working, i have come from a vix image and just wondering is they anything i need 2 do

Have you tried chaning the box type.
There is another thread that goes into more detail but could't find it

yeah i heard the same thing need to change box type to 06

Hi I am really confused about this cause people are saying install through temp but theys no files for temp, I installed the mgcamd with putting all the files in the correct places were it tells me then put the config files in the keys folder , I have even tried to change to755, the mgcamd file shows up but no server running

If you install TS panel plugin you can download the cam and config direct to your box. Then you just need to alter the newcamd list to your boxes ip address and do the box type to 06 change in the cfg.

What are you using to connect to mgcam? Ie what are you using to read the card?
