View Full Version : 3D channels?
Just bought a new 50" Panasonic 3D tv today so want to test the 3D channels.
Does anyone know what settings packages have them?
Currently have silverfoxes but can't seem to see them on there?
thanks
I'm sure they are listed within HD bouquet

yes, at the moment, sky 3D is a bit like watching ITV, plenty of adverts, and a mixed bag of entertainment, some good stuff on it, most 3D films, seem more intent on showing corny effects, rather than a good story line, sport/docs are very good though
one word of warning, dont drink beer or tea, whilst watching boxing

BBC HD (very, very) occasionally experiments with 3D too. Wimbledon finals, SCD finals, and upcoming Olympics spring to mind.
Hi
is sky3d a freebie or do you have to pay extra for it as i thought it was a extra 10 quid surely not for just one channel ? and also is the xtrent 9200 3d compatable ?
thanks paul
hd receivers are 3d compatible. sky3d is free to those subscribed to premium sports/film channels
oh right never new that is there any others providers who broadcast in 3d
thanks
bbc do sometimes. however on astra 28.2 the sky 3d channel is the only 3d channel. there are other 3d channels available on different satellites
thanks will check them out when i get my dish working
Cheers paul
I saw somewhere there was a euro 3d that was FTA:eek::eek: If I see the post again will post the details.
There's a few FTA 3D channels around the arc, but last time i checked they were mostly showing demo/promo loops

as said above sky3d is free to those with a premium package, however you may need to ring sky to activate it on your card.
13e and 19.2e both have s*y 3d channels as well as a few others. The UK Sky3D is not bad either, they show some decent 3d stuff to test your eyes out on.
i can feel a new purchase coming on hehe new tv
as phoenix said above you do need to ring sky to activate 3d channel
