hi guys got a brand new solo in post today it has the factory image on it, just a quick question ...........

i want to put the new vix with 3.11 kernal on it


do i flash bootloader file then put the image on?


sorry first time with a solo have a uno was just wondering if it was this process or another?

Yes, switch on the Solo with the bootloader file first and when instructed switch off the Solo. Then remove the bootloader file from the USB stick, unzip the image onto your USB stick and put it into the Solo and switch on again.

When instructed, remove the USB stick and switch off the Solo. Switch it back on and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the newly flashed image.
