What is the better reader to use with oscam running on a ubuntu server?

I have read that with omnikey you can't clock so which performs faster keeping ECM times low?

Omnikey is great cardreader but you must know that it doesnt support Irdeto cards. NDS cards on the other hand work absolutelly briliant.

Received my omnikey reader today and set it up, however my ECM times are the exact same as when the card was in my ET9K. 96ms seems to be the lowest.

i've not seen it go lower than 90 range so yr on the ball with omnikey

only thing i will say is if that s what you was getting before then i dont think you needed to change over

although the omnikey is far better at clocking that internal bus reader

smargo on other hand wont go lower than 150 on ecms so yr all good

I have read some people saying they have it as low as 60.

I wanted to use the i will read rule 3a so paying £12 was worth the exercise and i can tweak as I like without the family complaining, lol.

overclocking may get you down to 60 but a sly uk card is set by sly at 5mhz and omnikey clocks it to 6 as default any more than that may see yr card go down in scm but you also run the risk or burning it out
