Hi all,
I have a dish with quad lnb being used perfectly for SLY/FreeSat (28.2).
I have a multi lnb holder & 2 LNBs arriving today.

Just wondering if any of you know of a guide you can point me towards in setting up the extra LNBs to point to 2 different satellites? or should I get a professional in?

depends on where you wnat then min distance cant be less than 4 deg

just one thing to remeber

your west adn east change opposite so east is wes and west is east

this is due to the bounce

the ray bounces at oposite angle

so if fixed is 28.e east true

then 13 e will actually need to have lnb at 13w position as the light bounces in from 13e and then reflects towards 13w at 90deg

West is West and East is East; never the twain shall meet........

im talking LNB position not dish position

it reflects so needs to be on the oposite

Judge, what size/type of dish are you using?
And what satellites do you intend on receiving?
I'm assuming 13' 19.2' and 28.2'?
If this is the case the easiest way to achieve this spread is to aim your dish at 19.2 with the central LNB and peak the signal then lock the dish in position.
Then add your LNBs for 28.2' and 13' remembering that the correct position for 28.2(as you look at it from the front) is higher and to the left of 19.2 and 13' is lower and to the right.

Silver, the beam does not reflect at 90 degrees, if it did you would need an LNB at 77w to receive 13e.
The beams are mirrorred but the degree of reflection is inverse...
i.e if you are aligned on 16e then 13' and 19' are still 3 degrees(not 90degrees)off prime focus but reversed with satellite positionson the bar being reversed east/west but keeping the same orbital spacing.
By your example above in this case the LNB for 13'would be pointed to 77w .
And also your comment on 4degree spacing is wrong, yes in some cases it may require a mod but 3 degree spacing is achievable even without slimline LNBs in most situations.
Attached is a hijacked pic showing how the beam paths are affected in multi lnb setup
