View Full Version : [ET9x00] TV guide - goes back to old channel
If I am browsing the guide and press OK on a show, it appears in the small picture, which is good.
Now I continue browsing but do not find anything better to watch, so I press exit, but the TV channel changes back to before I even pressed guide, and I think I should stay on the channel I chose in the guide.
I dont see an option to change this behaviour, but certainly for me it is wrong
Unfortunately, I brought this up a while ago, and was told this is by design, and for the time being no real way to change it.
i.e new button to "exit and zap previewed channel"
I agree though, so looking for a way to change it if I can.
Yeah so you did, not a major issue but the way it works is a little absurd, I'm sure sky boxes and freeview boxes etc etc all work the way we want, as does coolmultiepg(or whatever its called) but I dont like that.
Surely its a 2 minute job to remove the code that zaps back to the previous channel on exit?

If you believe that you are more than welcome to spend the two minutes necessary to see for your self.

Wow...lol. Andy you've done an amazing job, and please ignore the bitching about little unimportant things, as you'll never get to see the light of day if you listen to all of them...You can never please 100% of people 100% of the time.
I didn't realise the sources were available... I may just have a play if I can find some spare time! (another thing I can never understand how you guys manage to find).
This is working great Andy
Great work everyone, top notch!
