Hi to all
Has anyone tried to make a full backup using the setup menu in BH 1.7.0 ?

The Developer says
"2) New Full Backup Utility.
This new Black Hole utility will complete the Black Hole tools. You can find it in the main menu. The Black Hole Full Backup will allow you to backup all your images in the original USB.zip format. This means that after you make a backup you can restore it in it's entirety, you flash your set top box with your own backup."

It is claimed that full backup created a zip format file (and I think must have 4 files inside?) as the original image we istalled in the flash?
In my case backup created ( in the position I choose to backup, a vulpus\uno directory and inside there are 2 files (kernel_cfe_auto.bin, and root_cfe_auto.jffs2.)
Can you confirm that, or I do something wrong? How can I restore from this backup, I must I zip those 2 files?

Thanks in advance
Bye

The backup image will have 2 files, .jffs2 and .bin.

To restore it, I presume you copy the 2 files into /vuplus/duo on a USB stick as per normal.
