Hi, I have bought a faulty spiderbox from a friend and the problem is that its keep rebooting every 10 seconds constantly......:mad:

Has anyone seen this or sorted this ?

He bought the box 6months ago but could never get it working, iv sorted him with a vu+ box so he gave me this...

i managed to update to latest software but the constant rebooting i cant even scan a sat :mad:

Any help please or any ides where i can contact the company that make this box ???

Thanks mate, ill give that a go today and should i still use the latest spiderbox software or go back to a previous version ???

latest is ok....
it holds all previous updates.

1. now to update in accesories/usb/ do i install just the SW or SW all data ?

2. ok now is there any TuT's to put my own Cline in ? i know dreambox's and vu boxes etc/CCcam i havnt got a clue with these spider boxes and whats this hidden menu?

Soon as i update the latest 1115 sw it starts rebooting...gutted... any ideas anyone ?

its perfect and doesnt reboot after the recovery just when i update :(

1.just sw,,,, if you choose sw+all data then the settings done regarding setup goes back to default.
2.can be done in network menu with remote after pressing 1111 on remote....1111 on remote opens up network menu for more features,
(the so called hiddden menu).

With the new patches you seem to have to do a factory reset before insatlling the patch and after installing the patch. Make sure you back up you channel list first, beofre the factory reset.

May also be worth trying another channel list incase yours is corrupt.

i have no ch list.. its a brand new box with just origional settings..
it works if i scan sats and works fine but only goes wrong when i update to 1115 :mad:

should i try another update and not the 1115 ??

K av tried different updates with the same effect after i update and factory reset it starts rebooting every 10 seconds ....

i do a rs232 restore and it works perfectly but with the non 1111menu bin :(

Anyone wana buy this ****ing thing av tried contacting spiderbox but there support if crap....greed...

al stick with my vu+duo a just wanted to sort this out

well theres no harm in trying the ones that came out before,,,,for test ,,if you think its the patch doing it .....
also for test you could choose sw+all data just in case theres something wrong with the settings done before......
