diseqc no
tuner b not configured
the dish has got quad lnd

the lock box is not ticked
when i press enter it ticks green

1- After configuring the tuner it is sometimes necessary to restart the box. Did you do that?
2- Why set tuner b to "not configured"? Just set it to "looptrough to tuner A". It will give you some more freedom for free.

If you again do not succeed: please make a screenshot of your tunersetting and post that here?

I find that on a few occasions when I have had similar probs that rescanning the sat sorted me out.
i.e redo the tuner setup tuner a=28.2 and tuner b loopthrough then scan the sat.

Are the settings you are reloading from vix 2.3? Or an earlier image?
As if i remember correctly 2.3 requires settings to be redone from scratch

Edit, crossed posts, well done on sorting it ;)

What advantage will I get if I set tuner b loop through to tuner a
Can you explain
Thanks

You will be able to view some extra channels when you are recording or watch via browser.

To be honest i find it rather baffling that people buy a dual tuner receiver then decide to handicap it by only supplying a single feed. If you already have a quad Lnb and all the feeds are in use it would be well worth your while to spend another £40 or thereabouts and replace it with a Octo LNB.

no i wanted to put a motorized dish on the other tuner
but didn't had the time to do it
just experimenting with the box

The only thing you'll have to do is to set the loop through (as you did).
The second tuner will be able to tune to transponders in the same 'quadrant' (same frequency band and polarisation, on same satellite) as the first tuner: that's the extra freedom you get for free.

aprt from above there is no other advantage which you can get by doing the setting of tuner B of loopthorough to tuner A
is that right or am i missing some thing here
thanks

Fo me there is no change either I set

Tuner B to not configured or to loop through to tune A
or someone else can explain to me any noticeable change in these settings

Have a number of simultaneous recordings in progress: watch live-TV on any other channel then the ones you record and see which tuners are being used (in the infobar).
Anything tuner B is doing is a bonus compared to it not being configured.

i tried that
but all it showed was tuner not available
all the time tuner a is active in the menu bar
do i have to do any more settings or what
if you are using it or any one has set it up and using it can explain it a bit more to me
thanks

There's nothing more to it.
Please show me a screenie of your tunerconfig, as there's something not OK there.

Well, seems to be OK (if indeed no switches are being used).

Did you consider what I wrote earlier

It looks like there is a loopthrough related problem at the moment: I'm having some troubles now as well.
