cant access box from pc????

Hi.

I am sure a while back i could access the box from my pc's web browser by typing the ip address into the url bar at top of page. Is it because i have the newest vix image installed?

If so is there any way to fix this.

U need to change your http port in the open webif plugin. Go to menu/plugins/openwebif and set it to 00080

Thank you for the reply..... when i make changes in openwebif plugin and restart the box it defaults back to the 08088.

any ideas please?

Yes m8.... i have done it several times but every time it is back to the 08088.

i have worked out how to do it.

it says on the open wbif configuration page how to do it.

It says "openwbif url: http//youip:port"

i put in my ip addres:08088 and it worked first time.
