5402 crash

hi my technomate 5402 just crashed and when i turn it back on
all i get is a flashing red light and 8888 on the display wont boot past this.
anybody know whats happend

Try a factory reset.

Power off.
Hold down standby button on front panel and power back on.
Select factory reset whilst with up and down keys and press standby button to ok.

hi tried that nothing happens still get flashing light and 8888 held standby button for well over 5 seconds.
