looking for a metal plate/bar with a slot in it

i need it to use for an LNB

being an odd item its hard to find it on sale on ebay and stuff hehe

and ost times ppl have similar laying in the shed and dont think much of em

here is something simlar to what im after

If it's a flat piece, which I can't make out on the pic, look for a local laser cutting steel company. If you pay cash, someone would cut a couple of those to around £10/20 from a bit of scrap.

what bluray posted above is perfectly what i need right down to the sizes

being a bit longer will be slightly better but even that will do

that would be great mate

i even went in teh freezing cold to my dads house and spent over an hour is his freezing cold garage rumaging around but couldnt find anything compatible

On ebay if you search multi lnb holder you'll find what you need, or if you can wait I'm taking a dish down that has a slotted and curved ISS type holder on it I would be more than happy to pop it in the post.

i seen the ISS one but at £13 plus delivery i think its a bit much but then thats cause it comes with a holder that i dont really need

if you doing the change soon then that would be great

i need the bar for an LNB myself

doing a frankinstein mod to get a distro on a multiconenct sytem hehe

i got it all worked out just a case of gettign that final bar and hooking it all on

It's the iss one thats on the dish with the holders if I can get to it in the next few days (on a pals house) I'll give you a shout and arrange post :thumbsup:

ahhh cool thats quite a cool initative

funny u say that

when i was looking on ebay i saw somthing ideal and because it was a VW Golf MK1 transmition plate it was marked up at £39

so sometimes a little metal plate due to its use or what its for can be so expensive

they at mates workshop at the moment just getting him to drill a few holes into em and bend em at a certain point

so should get em tmoz
