Hi

got a 2nd hand Duo with a broken HDMI connector, and it's scruffy a few minor scratches etc. ( that's the bad news)

apart from that it's it's in perfect working order displays HDMI via component and sound via optical (that the good news)

comes boxed and with original packaging, +remote +power lead no HDMI lead tho.

so what's it worth;)

I would say probably around £200 as a max... But likely a lot of people put off by the lack of hdmi... Altho if people don't have a hdmi display, then you might get a lucky sale :thumbsup:

I think you need to post pics to get an accurate idea of value.

As scruffy with a few minor scratches is an opinion that will vary from person to person.

Before you can price it how old is it? as that and the faullty HDMI will determine what you can get for it. Anything over 12 months old I would say you would be hard pressed to get more than 50% of retail as Punisher has stated.

it's probaly 2 to 3 years old.

The DUO is on the market since October 2009. The elder versions don't have the upgrade to allow for wake up from deep sleep for a recording (or it has undergone a later upgrade), so maybe tell something about that too (and state the H/W version of the M/B).

If you are thinking of selling I would be interested as i have been looking for something on the cheap side that I could experiment with, got some ideas to pimp up the hardware :D

OK here you go.

the marks on the front will be removed it's just where i had some insulation tape across the display, they are not permanant....honest

Looks ALOT better, but the low valuation of it from myself is down to the broken hdmi port and the age of it.

Obviously it's only 1 persons opinion, but thats all it would be worth to me (if I were lookin to make an offer on it).

£60 + delivery now the front is clean-ish :D:D:D

Seriously though it also looks like there is some damage to the eSata port as well but could be just the angle of the picture. i think about £120-£130 would be about right as a starting point
