The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ will raise its subscription fees in March.
However, it also plans to add more HD and 3D channels to its line-up, as well as widen the services its offers over the internet.
Quoted by Wirtualne Media, Cyfra+ spokesman Michal Stryjecki said the price increases were due to inflation, which was running at 5% last year, and to pay for an improved offer.
Cyfra+ added no fewer than 25 channels to its line-up last year.
The latest addition (today, January 11) is AXN Spin, a new channel from Sony Pictures Television Networks targeting viewers aged 13-25.
Cyfra+, which is set to merge shortly with the DTH platform n, will also make its Cyfra+ Online service available to iPad and iPhone users later this year.
