Sequential autotimers

Hi everyone,

I have an autotimer set to record the Dakar rally on eurosport.
I have the search term set to dakar, as there are different shows, with different names (a live one, and a 'highlights' one).

There are two items that are occurring, one immediately after each other.

I have the record padding set at default (start @ -3, end @ +5).

So these items overlap for 8 min, and I get a pop from time to time, warning about the overlap.

Why can't the vu+ take care of this?
The two items are on the same transponder, so it should be able to record both, and if totally necessary, split the recordings at the time that the epg states the change of show takes place.

Oh yes, the VU can handle that perfectly. But you're speaking about how the AutoTimer plugin handles that, not the (firmware of the) box.

In the settings of autotimer (AutoTimer --> Menu --> Setup) you can activate that a program is regarded as being recorded already if 80% is already covered by an other timer (see screenshot). Have a look at your settings to see if that is the case here.
