If any of your kids (or you) have WOW accounts, there's a particularly official looking fake one going round.

I received it yesterday.

Thing is, on WOWs web page it says to make sure any email claiming to come from them ends in blizzard.com (and a few others too) , and at first glance, the sender does appear to be blizzard.com

Apart from the fact I haven't had a WOW account for a couple of years now, I never believe these things, hence looked into it further.

On viewing the emails full header it said (amongst other things)

From: Blizzard Entertainment < donotreply.service@blizzard.com>

Subject: World of Warcraft - Security Warning

Return Path: <danne_mannen123@hotmail.com>

X-Originating-Email: [danne_mannen123@hotmail.com]

Hence it came from a hotmail account and not blizzard.

The email said
