Problem flashing tm-500s

Tried to flash my tm-500s, and gets the error :failed to connect to the 192.168.1.12
I am sure the internet connection is ok, as when I update it through internet it went through.
My problem is I cannot change the password using TCC 7.1, and the error comes is: check your IP and PASSWORD again.
what is problem?

to change password just log in via telnet and type

passwd

I attempted to Change Password using PASSWD but when I Telnet it first asks for 'MySTM Login:' Regardless what I enetr it then asks for 'Password:'

How do I bypass these to change Username and Password?

I would use dream-up m8, and if i remmember correctly, version 1.3.2 works on the clone DM500s, i`m sure it`s in the downloads on the site m8 ??

This is a Technomate TM-500 Super, Dreamup does not work.
